Holiday Greetings

I'm sorry it has been so long. Since the last time we have moved into a beautiful 3-bedroom apartment and have enjoyed making it our home and decorating for Christmas. Along with our family Christmas shot I've included a couple pictures of the kiddos. Logan has this crazy love for diaper cream (I added a photo of when he was a baby and got ahold of it). Only this time he thought it was hair gel! Too smart for his own good! And then there's little Anna, she's such a girl. She can turn the crying on and off amazingly fast. They are doing great though and growing so much.

A boy's birthday bash!

Well, Logan is 2 now. It's amazing how quick these things come up. We celebrated all weekend with a farm festival one day, a picnic lunch with the family, a craft festival, and then to top it all off, a tractor cake. It was quite funny, as we posed for the picture with the cake Jeff and I both thought Logan was cheesy smiling when he was actually sticking his finger in the icing. Go figure!

Summer Days

Praise the Lord the weather has been so mild lately. We have had many afternoon walks to the park to swing and just goof around. The kids are growing so much! Anna is on the verge of crawling and can already manuever her way around any room. Logan is talking more and more and his imagination is out of this world! His new favorite playtime activity is to play farm. He feeds his animals, waters them, and even makes them talk to each other! As for the dress Anna's wearing, it was a gift, and this was really the only 5 seconds she wore it when she wasn't screaming.

Summer Days

A lot has happened in the past month. The biggest thing is that we took a trip to Indy for the fourth of July. There we spent time with Daniel (my brother), Lisa (Daniel's fiance'), and Kathy (Lisa's mom). We also spent time with all of our aunts and Uncles cousins and close friends. It was a blast. Logan now remembers most of them in night time prayers. The time was sweet. We have an awesome family.
Anna is developing everyday. She is sitting up and playing on her own. She no longer "cries", but rather she hollers. It is cute. Logan is ever learning and mimmicing. He now tucks his teddy bears in with him at bed time and wants us to kiss them like we kiss him. Our garden is growing at a rapid pace. We have squash and beans coming out of our ears. Sorry we don't have pictues of that. It is rather embarrassing =)

Short Update

Hey, everyone! Things are moving along here in Springfield. Anna can now roll over. She is also trying to sit up on her own. Logan's vocabulary is expanding. He is growing by leaps and bounds. Logan and Anna love eachother and love to play together. The biggest obstacle in their relationship is Logan sometimes thinks that "Sissy" is bigger than she is.
Michelle and I are doing great. We plan on starting a "progam/ opportunity" for our church. It will model the "dinners for eight" that we participated in, with our Sunday school class in Dallas. Our desire is that the congregation would better get aquainted with eachother and then inturn be more sensitive and understanding of the needs within the body. Also we pray that this bonds the members together in a more adhesive way. Enjoy the Pics.

They're growing fast!!

So, Anna is three months old now, but if you try to tell her she's a little baby she'll let you know otherwise real quick! She loves to sit in the Jumperoo although only one of her ten toes touches the floor. I think this is her favorite place to interact with her big brother, plus he usually gives her a couple of little bounces! The chair picture is just too cute for words! And who can resist fire truck pajamas and The Wiggles big red car slippers. The slippers are about 2 sizes too big for Logan, but he loves the Wiggles so he prances around the house in his slippers saying "Wig-Wig" (Logan language for the Wiggles!)

One month and still kicking

It has now been over 1 month since Anna has come to us. Sometimes it seems so hectic around here that we just can't settle down. But then The Lord gives us great moments and memories with eachother. For instance I walked into the kitchen after a day at a job and saw Logan in Michelle's John Deere apron, helping her make something that smelled teriffic. It made me tear up and thank the Lord for moments like that. Logan's vocab is expanding greatly. He started wining alot to get our attention, so Michelle taught him how to pat her on the leg and say "Mamma." Well needless to say, Logan now uses that method to get my attention. He knows me as Daddy, but when he tries to get my attention he thinks "Mamma" is a magical word like please. It is cute to have him pat me on the Leg and say "Mommy, Mommy."
Anna is growing and maturing. As you may see in the pictures we post, her hair is a little wild. It just stands straight up. She is a great addition to the Wohlfert clan.
The relatives came to see us this week. My dad and his wife, Betty, came. Along with them came my sister (whom I haven't seen since Christmas of '06). It was great to see her again. If you are wondering about the thing Logan is climbinig on in one of the pics, wonder no more. If you think that it looks like a 2 1/2 foot stuffed chicken, you are correct. That is a present from Grandpa.
Please keep me(Jeffrey) in your prayers. There is a really good job opportunity for me through a company called Ecolab. Now I am doing temp work for Pella windows.
Michelle is doing great as always. Though she is tired most of the time she handles herself wonderfully. I am truly blessed to have her as my companion on this journey of life. We plan on going on a date Later this week. We have some awesome friends/family that will watch the kidos. Thanks Uncle Jeff and Aunt Amanda.
May God keep you and bless you and cause his face to shine upon you.

Good times!

Wow! Its amazing how quickly two weeks fly by! I can't believe our little baby is growing so much. Logan absolutely loves her! He loves to hold her and kiss her, and whenever she cries he is quick to let us all know! We hope you all enjoy these new pictures of our two little blessings!

Welcome, Anna Grace Wohlfert

Well, Anna has finally arrived. Michelle went into labor at about 3:30 AM. Seven hours later Anna Grace Wohlfert came into the world to join all of us. She came with no complications. The most complicated part of the delivery was trying to figure out who was going to deliver Anna. Three other women went into the last stage of labor at the same time as Michelle, so one OB went into surgery with a lady, one OB stayed with us, the head doctor was keeping tabs on everybody, and all of the nurses were trying to keep everything running. It was an amazing time. The staff kept commenting on Michelle's great attitude and strength through it all. They told us that it is very rare to have some one come in and do eveything naturally. I praise God for my great wife. Enjoy the pics of Anna.
